Ip Hoi (葉 愷)
生 於 一 九 三 二 年 ﹐ 香 港 退 休 警 務 人 員 ﹐ 甲 子 書 學 會 創 會 會 員 ﹐ 醉 心 書 法 ﹐ 並 兼 繪 畫 。 近 年 鍾 愛 雕 刻 ﹐ 將 其 靈 巧 之 書 法 與 硬 朗 之 刀 法 熔 為 一 體 ﹐ 為 其 個 人 藝 術 創 新 領 域 。 作 品 不 可 勝 數 ﹐ 書 法 作 品 曾 多 次 入 選 香 港 當 代 藝 術 雙 年 展 及 得 獎 於 中 國 及 香 港 藝 術 機 構 主 辦 之 展 覽 。
Born in 1932. A founder member of Jiazi Society of Calligraphy. He is a superb calligrapher and he also paints. After retirement recently, he fell in love with carving on wood and bamboo. This new hobby enables him to combine his active calligraphic style with the strength of the knife strokes, bringing his personal arts to a new level of achievement. His fine works are plentiful. They were featured at various calligraphy exhibitions held in Hong Kong and China, and have brought him many awards from the Contemporary Hong Kong Art Biennial Exhibitions and other exhibitions.
