Jat See Yeu (翟 仕 堯)
一 九 三 五 年 生 於 廣 東 東 筦 。 翟 老 師 為 香 港 甲 子 書 學 會 永 遠 名 譽 顧 問 ﹐ 本 網 主 之 書 法 導 師 。 曾 舉 辦 個 人 展 覽 十 餘 次 ﹐ 作 品 展 於 亞 ﹐ 歐 ﹐ 美 洲 各 國 共 百 餘 次 ﹐ 並 為 各 大 機 構 及 私 人 收 藏 。 自 1975 年 起 在 香 港 大 學 專 業 進 修 學 院 主 講 書 法 。 1993 年 至 今 任 香 港 中 文 大 學 藝 術 系 講 師 。 1995 年 起 獲 委 任 為 香 港 藝 術 館 名 譽 顧 問 。 2001 年 起 被 邀 任 香 港 康 樂 及 文 化 事 務 署 博 物 館 名 譽 顧 問 。 因 翟 氏 在 推 動 書 法 藝 術 上 成 就 卓 越 ﹐ 2001 年 獲 香 港 特 別 行 政 區 政 府 頒 授 榮 譽 勳 章 。
Mr. Jat See Yeu is the calligraphy teacher of the web master of this studio. He is also the Permanent Honorary Adviser to the Jiazi Society of Calligraphy in Hong Kong. Mr Jat was born in 1935 at Dongguan, Guangdong. In addition to over 10 personal exhibitions, he has participated in over 100 calligraphy and painting exhibitions in many countries in Asia, America and Europe. Mr. Jat has been a lecturer of calligraphy in the School of Professional and Continuous Education of the University of Hong Kong since 1975, and a lecturer in the Arts Department of the Chinese University of Hong Kong since 1993. He has been an adviser to the Hong Kong Museum of Art since 1995 and also to the Leisure and cultural Services Department since 2001. Given his outstanding achievements in the promotion of calligraphy, he was awarded an honorary medal by the Hong Kong SAR Government in 2001.
